Server Log Files
The hosting provider automatically collects the following data in server log files:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing device
- Time of server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in technically error-free presentation).
Contact Form
When you contact us via the contact form, your information is stored to process your inquiry. We will not share this data without your consent.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). You may revoke your consent at any time by emailing hello@klivant.com. The lawfulness of processing carried out prior to revocation remains unaffected.
Your data will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Mandatory statutory provisions — in particular retention periods — remain unaffected.
For form submission we use Web3Forms (Web3Forms, S.L.). Your data (name, email, message) is transmitted to Web3Forms servers and forwarded to us by email. For more information, see the Web3Forms Privacy Policy. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent via checkbox in the form). For spam protection, hCaptcha (Intuition Machines, Inc.) is also used. Data such as IP address and browser information may be transmitted to hCaptcha. For more information, see the hCaptcha Privacy Policy.
5. External Services
Google Fonts (consent-based)
This website uses Google Fonts for consistent typography. These are only loaded after your consent via the cookie banner from Google servers (google.com, gstatic.com). Without consent, system fonts are used and no connection to Google is established. Icons are rendered as embedded SVG graphics and require no external connections.
Upon consent, your IP address is transmitted to Google. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy.
Tailwind CSS CDN
For styling, Tailwind CSS is loaded via a content delivery network (CDN). When loading, your IP address is transmitted to Tailwind Labs Inc. This is technically necessary for the functional presentation. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
Externally Hosted Images
This website embeds images hosted on external servers (Google Cloud / lh3.googleusercontent.com). When loading these images, your IP address is transmitted to the respective server. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in appealing presentation).
6. Cookies
This website uses a technically necessary cookie (klivant_consent in localStorage) to store your consent preferences for external services. It does not contain any personal data — only whether you have accepted or declined the use of external services.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). No additional cookies are used.
7. Data Retention
Unless a more specific retention period has been stated, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate deletion request or revoke consent, your data will be deleted unless other legally permissible retention grounds exist.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Objection (Art. 21 GDPR)
For questions, contact us at: hello@klivant.com
Withdrawal of Consent
Many data processing operations are only possible with your consent. You may revoke any consent given at any time. The lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the revocation remains unaffected.
Right to Complain
In the event of violations of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, particularly in the EU member state of your habitual residence or place of work.
9. SSL/TLS Encryption
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons. An encrypted connection is indicated by "https://" and the lock icon in your browser's address bar.
